        The Women's forum Sierra Leone

The Women's Forum Sierra Leone is a Non Governmental Feminist organization that was establish in February 1994. The Forum has set the Growth and advancement of the status of Girls and young Women as a priority from start up to date, and its also focus on the Empowerment of Girls and young Women to take part in Decision making  , to serve as agent of positive change in their communities, advocating against violence. 

Currently, there are three hundred (300)  women organizations registered within the Forum at Regional District and Chiefdom levels. We are partner in development process having signed the Service Level Agreement with the Ministry of Gender and Children Affairs. We are also registered as an NGO with the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and SLANGO. â€‹

​The Women's Forum SL has been working with the Ministry of Gender and Children's Affairs hand in hand in order to see the Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment bill come into existence of success and at present WFSL has reached its goal, women are now having 33% seats in Parliament equivalent to the total of 43 seats waiting for women to uphold in parliament.

Mrs. Sally Ndimawa Adams 

Mrs. Sally Ndimawa Adams is the National President of Women's Forum Sierra Leone. She was elected on April 2021 in PortLoko District Council hall.

ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY

She is hardworking, committed and well-manner. She has the readiness and willingness to learn new things.
