The Women's forum Sierra Leone
The Women's Forum Sierra Leone is a Non Governmental Feminist organization that was established in February 1994. The Forum has set the Growth and advancement of the status of Girls and young Women as a priority from start up to date, and its also focus on the empowerment of Girls and young women to take part in decision making , to serve as agents of positive change in their communities, advocating against violence ,regionally and nationally.
The Women's Forum Sierra Leone , in partnership with the Ministry of Gender and Children's Affairs , with support from UNWomen and Action aid, held several Dialogue Forums, in advocating for the enactment of Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment Bill, which guarantees minimum 30% Appointive and Elective positions for Women in governance , Gender mainstreaming on training and Employment and Increased access to finance .
In July 2022, The Parliament of Sierra Leone legislated the Public Elections Act , which gives women the opportunity to occupy 33%seats in parliament . This is one of the goals achieved by the Women's Forum Sierra Leone .

NATIONAL PRESIDENT
Mrs. Sally Ndimawa Adams
Mrs. Sally N. Adams is currently the Third National President of Women's Forum Sierra Leone . She was also the Former Western Region Coordinator .
She has , and continues to demonstrate outstanding leadership , towards the growth of the Forum and strengthening advocacy for the empowerment of Women and girls in Sierra leone
